We sell IT services the way we wish we could buy them.
Most IT agencies make you wait three weeks for a quote. We don't. Our packages, deliverables, and prices are on the page — pick one, check out, and we start within 48 hours.
That's the whole pitch. The rest of this page is the context behind it.
Why we work this way
Before Brigade Motion, we spent years on both sides of the agency relationship — as buyers frustrated by sales-call gauntlets, and as practitioners watching good projects die in proposal cycles. The pattern was always the same: a small business needs a website, app, or technical advice. They reach out to three or four agencies. Each one wants a 45-minute discovery call before they'll quote anything. The buyer ghosts halfway through. Nothing gets built.
We started Brigade Motion to solve that. Productized services with fixed scope and transparent pricing. It's not a new idea — Designjoy, WP Buffs, and a handful of others pioneered the model — but almost nobody applies it to full-stack IT work. We do.
The trade-off is real: by committing to fixed scopes, we can't handle every kind of project. Some work genuinely needs the discovery-call route, and when that's true, we'll tell you and point you elsewhere. But for the majority of small and mid-sized business work, our four services and twelve packages cover it.
What we do
Four services, each with three tiers. That's it.
- Websites & Web Apps — from a 5-page launch to a custom application with backend, auth, and integrations
- Product Design — UI/UX from a one-week audit to a full multi-week design sprint
- Mobile Apps — iOS and Android, from MVP to App Store submission
- IT Strategy & Consulting — from a single strategy call to a monthly fractional CTO engagement
Every package has the same backbone: a 30-minute kickoff call, a written brief, fixed milestones, and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
Who actually does the work
Our team is small, senior, and global. Every project has a named lead — a real person whose work you can verify on LinkedIn, who answers your emails, and who's accountable for the deliverable.
We don't subcontract to anonymous freelancers. We don't run a "talent network" that auctions your project to the lowest bidder. When you book a package, you get a specific person on the kickoff call within 48 hours.
Where we're based (the honest version)
Brigade Motion is headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, with team members in several countries. We chose this structure deliberately, and it benefits you in three ways:
- Senior talent at competitive rates. Lisbon engineering and design salaries are roughly 40-50% of equivalent US-based talent. We pass that math along through fixed package pricing instead of inflating hourly rates.
- US business hours coverage. Our working day overlaps fully with US Eastern time (we work afternoons and evenings local). When you email us at 10am ET, you'll hear back within four hours.
- No timezone games. Most "global" agencies stick you with a US-based account manager who relays everything to an offshore team you never speak to. We don't do that. The senior person on your project is the same person you message on Slack.
We say this upfront because most US buyers assume "international agency" means low quality and bad communication. That's a fair assumption — there's a lot of bad work out there. We compete by being explicit about how we operate.
What we don't do
A short list, to save us both time:
- Discovery calls before quotes. Our prices are published. If you need a custom scope, we'll quote that on the kickoff call after you've already paid for a Strategy Call package (and credit it toward the larger engagement).
- Hourly billing. Every package is fixed-scope and fixed-price. You'll never get a "scope creep" invoice.
- Subcontracting without disclosure. If we ever bring in an outside specialist (rare, usually for very niche technical work), you'll know about it before the work starts.
- Endless revisions. Every tier has a clear revision policy. We do good work the first time and tighten it with feedback. We don't run "free revisions forever" because it leads to bad work shipped slowly.
Our guarantee
If the first deliverable doesn't meet the brief we wrote together on the kickoff call, we refund you in full. No arguments, no questions, no negotiation. The guarantee window is 30 days from the kickoff call.
We can offer this because we're confident in our work — and because in practice, almost nobody asks for it. When they do, we honor it without making it painful.
